GJT Aims

The aim at GJT is to nurture and Instil Islam into our children in the most natural way possible.

At GJT we have developed a unique curriculum that works on an integrated approach to deliver a wholesome education to all our pupils in all our schools.

We aim to empower our children to discover themselves, achieve wholeness, spirituality and develop social consciousness.

Our approach is based on the concept of tarbiyah, which means "to cause something to grow”. We believe that every child has an intrinsic nature that needs to be unfolded and brought out through education.

The school curriculum is built on the principles of Islam, iman, and ihsan, and aims to produce well-rounded individuals who are principled, knowledgeable, well-balanced, cooperative, committed, caring, and are connected to their spiritual well-being knowing who Allah is.

The following are key areas of development that we aim to achieve through our schooling:

•Human development in general,
•Curriculum development for Academic strength and goals
•Spiritual connection with Allah and development
•Community development (including parent education and community
•Service learning : Khidma - the idea of giving back to others.

How will this be achieved?
The curriculum is broad and balanced that strengthens the above focuses as areas of development that simultaneously cultivates spiritual growth in our children.

The tarbiyah (nurturing) model of schooling is therefore fully integrated to reflect the philosophical and pragmatic view of the nature of our curriculum in our schools, centralising the concept of tawhid as the pivotal element in the model. This will Insha’Allah enable us to achieve our main goal in developing human capacity that will benefit not only our children but also society as a whole.
